In this episode of the Tribesmen podcast, we have a special guest, Joey Hauss.

Joey is a highly skilled and experienced wellness instructor, with certifications in the Wim Hof Method and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. As a Wim Hof Method Level 2 Certified Breathwork and Cold Immersion Facilitator, Joey has undergone specialized training and instruction in the Wim Hof Method's unique breathing and cold immersion techniques, which are said to improve overall health and well-being.

In addition to his breathwork expertise, Joey is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Master Jean Jacques Machado, and brings his knowledge of martial arts and the physical discipline it requires to his wellness instruction.

In this episode, Joey talked about combining Judaism with spiritual exploration through plant medicine, breathwork & meditation - something that can be hard for some but has been incredibly transformative for him.

He explains how breath work helps him manage stress levels and develop deeper self-awareness and what drives him to seek more adventures exploring spirituality with the help of plant medicines from around the world.

Find out how these spiritual practices can help you in finding inner peace despite all of life's obstacles that can stand in the way of your personal growth - such as family obligations or societal pressures.

His story serves as an inspiration for those who are looking for more ways to explore their faithfulness through both traditional religious teachings & modern methods like plant medicine & breathwork.

"what you've often find is people that like we're in like real turmoil in their lives and then went to some real deep rock bottom and were able to turn it around"

"You can have all  the creature comforts, the women, the drugs, whatever it is that excites you, like the fame and all that good stuff. But without a level of a deeper meaning, you're going to enter this hole that no amount of money can feel fill, no amount of anything like within this physical realm I feel can actively fill."

"But there is something to being out in the elements and being a little uncomfortable, being a little cold, being a little too hot, that literally forces you to be present."

Tune into this episode now!

PS. Joey was the one who influenced me into doing the "ice bath," which is a game changer!
